Fiji’s biggest telecommunications group Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH) has announced the resignation of its interim chairman Daksesh Patel, effective this week.
ATH made the announcement at the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX), where it is listed.
“His contributions have been instrumental in guiding ATH Group through significant growth and success.
“Mr Patel’s ongoing involvement will ensure a smooth transition and provide continuity in the Board’s strategic oversight,” the company stated.
“ATH is in the process of selecting a new Chairman who will lead ATH Group with the same level of excellence and commitment as Mr Patel.
“On behalf of the board of directors, management, and employees of ATH Group, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr Patel for his invaluable contributions as chairman.”
