The funeral of the late Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations, Agni Deo Singh, will be held on Sunday.
The Ministry of Employment says the funeral procession will depart the Colonial War Memorial Hospital mortuary for Civic House in Suva, where Ministry staff will pay their final respects from 8.30am to 9am.
The procession will then proceed to Rishkul Sanatan College, where an official funeral gathering and public viewing will be held from 9.30am to midday.
Mr Singh will then be taken to his family residence at Lot 17, Amar Singh Road in Dilkusha, Nausori, where family members will pay their final respects and funeral rituals will be conducted from 12.30pm to 1.40pm.
The funeral procession will later proceed to Raralevu Cemetery, where Mr Singh will be cremated. The final ceremony is scheduled from 2.15pm to 4pm.
Condolence books have also been opened at the Ministry’s offices in Suva, Lautoka and Labasa for members of the public wishing to pay tribute to the late Minister.
The Ministry has encouraged members of the public wishing to pay their final respects to attend the official funeral gathering and public viewing at Rishkul Sanatan College.
