THE Public Service Association (PSA) Investments Company Pte Limited has officially commenced construction on its $60 million hotel development in Martintar, Nadi.
The multi-million-dollar investment will deliver a modern seven-storey facility featuring 102 fully fitted guest rooms. The property will operate under the internationally recognised Wyndham franchise as Day’s Inn by Wyndham.
Speaking at the official groundbreaking ceremony on September 12, Finance Minister Esrom Immanuel highlighted the importance of the commercial partnership.
“The partnership between PSA Investments Company Pte Limited and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific Pte Limited is a good example of how local investment and international expertise can come together to create value for Fiji,” Mr Immanuel said.
He commended the company for its significant commitment to the national economy. He also emphasised that the initiative represents strong confidence in the long-term potential of Nadi as a key tourism and commercial center.
“A groundbreaking ceremony is more than the beginning of construction. It represents confidence in Fiji, ambition for the future and a commitment to creating new opportunities.”
The project aims to expand accommodation capacity while strengthening the competitiveness of the tourism landscape.
Construction work will focus on high standards of quality, safety, and local participation.
