XAVIER Willison brought excitement to the Namoli Tigers rugby league training session at Churchill Park Ground Two on Wednesday afternoon.
The young players were delighted to welcome the Brisbane Broncos forward and 2026 Paul Morgan Medal winner, congratulating him on his recent achievement.
The players had the opportunity to interact with Willison, play a short game of touch rugby and hear words of encouragement from the 24-year-old forward.
“I am delighted and happy to be here with you and thank you for receiving me, it’s been a good day and I thank you.
“All the best in your career and your future games,” Willison said.
Willison also handed out Brisbane Broncos merchandise to the players, adding to a memorable afternoon for the young Tigers.
Earlier in the day Willison visited the children at Lautoka Hospital.
