ARTESIAN water bottling and exporting company FIJI Water has reaffirmed its sponsorship of the Supreme Award for the Prime Ministers International Business (PMIBA) Awards 2026.
The company renewed its sponsorship through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with Investment Fiji earlier this week, marking the ninth consecutive year of the partnership.
FIJI Water executive vice president Craig Cooper said the company was committed to support initiatives that encouraged innovation and strengthened the country’s economy.
“Through our sponsorship of the Supreme Award, we are pleased to celebrate Fiji businesses that demonstrate outstanding performance, growth and a positive impact on their employees, communities and the wider economy,” Mr Cooper said in a joint statement.
“We are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Investment Fiji and support the PMIBA for the ninth consecutive year,” he said.
Investment Fiji board chairman Filimone Waqabaca acknowledged FIJI Water’s continued support of the PMIBA since 2017.
He said through its continued support for communities and national development for more than 30 years, the water bottling company played an important role in driving sustainable growth and creating opportunities across Fiji and the South Pacific.
“As one of the country’s leading exporters, FIJI Water’s impact extends beyond employment, investment and international trade,” Mr Waqabaca said.
“This partnership speaks volumes about FIJI Water’s belief in recognising excellence and promoting business success in Fiji.
“We are proud to have them remain by our side as a major sponsor for the ninth consecutive year.”
PMIBA – themed ‘Economic transformation and exclusive growth’ – will be held in November later this year, and businesses of all sizes across a wide range of sectors will compete for awards in 16 categories.
