PRIME Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says Cabinet will continue as normal after the reinstatement of Aseri Radrodro as Education Minister.

In an interview with the media yesterday, Mr Rabuka said he made the decision which started the journey, and he made the decision to end it.

“I do not believe there’ll be any reaction in Cabinet, we continue as normal,” he said.

“There may be personal dissatisfactions, but I am the leader, and they have all thrown their support for me, and I count on that. And together we can make it.”

He said over the past three months, many showed their human nature, and he had considered all possible factors before making the decision.

“Everyone was kept in the dark. What general would give their battle plans to the enemy?

“A decision on a Cabinet minister is not taken by Cabinet, it is taken by the head of Cabinet, which is the prime minister, and I don’t want them to be equally blamed. I can carry the blame myself. That is part of my job.”

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and National Federation Party (NFP) leader Professor Biman Prasad said they were not distracted by the commentaries on the sidelines regarding the stability of Government.

“We have discussions with the Prime Minister and there are certain times when the PM makes the decision,” he said.

“Absolutely no issues. We are working on delivering the budget.”
