An issue, I’d like to raise with the relevant authorities is in regards to the pain and suffering the motorists and pedestrians are facing daily on Kuku Rd.
The road has given birth to so many potholes over the years and if you dodge one, you will probably hit two.
There are two schools along this road and students are also facing difficulties while walking to and from. Now this becomes very risky for pedestrians as well. Leaving behind vehicles dodging potholes, pedestrians also have to dodge them as well.
For instance, if my vehicle is not up to date, I won’t be spared by relevant authorities and probably be nailed with defect orders.
It’s agreeable that poor road conditions are experienced at many places taking into consideration the recent heavy downpour, but I reckon there are some roads which need urgent repairs.
It would be much appreciated if relevant authorities take heed of the abovementioned issues and at least attempt to patch the potholes for the time being because it is causing great pain and suffering to motorists and pedestrians.
