A JOINT counter-narcotics operation in the Western Division yesterday targeted alleged drug-related activities at a residential property in Legalega, Nadi.
The raid was conducted at about 9am by the Joint Counter Narcotics Task Force comprising officers from the Fiji Police Force and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the operation was carried out following information received regarding alleged drug activities at the property.
However, she confirmed that no arrest was made during the raid.
The Fiji Police Force and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces continue to conduct nationwide operations aimed at disrupting drug-related criminal activities.
Attempts to obtain comments from Joint Task Force Commander Manoa Gadai were unsuccessful when this edition went to press last night.
