Suva maintains vital Marama Cup lead

SUVA continues to lead the Subrails Marama Championship after nine rounds, with the capital side holding a two-point advantage at the top of the standings.

Suva has collected 40 points from nine matches, recording eight wins and one loss.

Nadi is second on 38 points after six wins, two draws and one loss, while Namosi is third on 36 points with seven wins and two losses.

Nasinu occupies fourth place on 33 points, followed by Tailevu on 31 and Macuata on 29.

Kadavu and Naitasiri are locked on 24 points, with Kadavu placed seventh and Naitasiri eighth.

Nadroga sits ninth on 20 points, while Ba is 10th on 19 points after two wins, one draw and six losses.

At the bottom of the table, Lautoka has nine points from one win and eight losses, while Rewa is still searching for its first victory after nine matches.

Rewa has two points and a points differential of minus 623.

With the competition entering its final stages, Suva will be looking to maintain its lead, while Nadi and Namosi remain within striking distance.

The remaining rounds will be crucial for teams across the table as they fight to improve their positions before the championship concludes.
