FIJIAN veteran Levani Botia has reached another remarkable milestone, making his 250th appearance for Stade Rochelais in Saturday’s Top 14 clash against Pau.
The 37-year-old has become one of the most enduring figures in La Rochelle’s history since arriving in 2014 as a medical joker, initially playing at centre before establishing himself as a world-class loose forward.
Botia’s 250th appearance further cements his status as a club legend, having spent his entire professional career in France with the Maritimes. He reached 200 appearances in April 2024 and subsequently extended his contract until 2027.
Known for his ferocious tackling, breakdown work and physicality, Botia remains an important figure for both La Rochelle and the Flying Fijians Fiji.
His longevity has made him one of the most recognisable Fijian forwards in the Top 14.
