THE 2026 Skipper Cup competition enters its decisive phase this Saturday, with Round 10 set to have a major bearing on the eight teams that will advance to the playoffs.
With only one round remaining after this weekend, there is little room for error as teams battle for crucial points and a place in the knockout stages.
Naitasiri currently leads the standings with 37 points, but faces pressure from Nadi and Tailevu, who are both on 36 points. Nadi occupies second place, while Tailevu sits third on points differential.
Nadroga is fourth with 31 points, followed by defending champion Malolo on 27 points and Suva on 26.
Taveuni, competing in its debut Skipper Cup season, is seventh with 23 points, while Navosa is eighth with 20 points.
Ba sits in ninth place, followed by Lautoka in 10th, Kadavu in 11th and Rewa in 12th.
The battle is equally intense in the Under-20 competition, with Suva leading the standings after nine rounds on 40 points.
Nadi is second on 38 points, while Ba is third with 32 points. Naitasiri sits fourth on 30 points, followed by Nadroga on 28.
Taveuni has made an impressive start to its debut season, sitting sixth with 25 points, while Tailevu is seventh on 23 points and Malolo eighth on 22.
Lautoka occupies ninth place on 12 points, level with Rewa and Navosa, while Kadavu is at the bottom on six points.
With the competition entering its final stretch, the remaining two rounds will determine the eight teams that secure playoff berths, while the remaining four will see their Skipper Cup campaigns come to an end.
