SHAKEEL Pillay produced an outstanding performance to claim the overall gross title at the 56th R.C. Manubhai Ba Open Golf Tournament, which concluded at the FSC Ba Golf Club last Sunday.
The two-day tournament brought together golfers from across the country, with players showcasing skill, determination and sportsmanship.
R.C. Manubhai Group of Companies director Rajesh Patel said the company was proud to continue its long-standing support of the Ba Open, which provides an important platform for golfers to showcase their talent.
Pillay was among the top performers by Ravendra Lal, who finished runner-up in the overall gross category.
Mohd Ali won the overall nett title, while Damon Chen finished runner-up.
In the women’s division, Raina Kumar claimed the overall gross title while Lynn Natividad took overall nett honours.
In the professional category, Roneel Prakash finished first, with Tomasi Tuivuna placed second.
The tournament highlighted the depth of golfing talent and provided an opportunity for players to strengthen ties within the wider golfing community.
