GOLFERS will have another major event to look forward to when the Naviti Open Pro-Am is held at The Naviti Resort on October 17.

The one-day tournament, organised in association with the Fiji Professional Golfers’ Association (Fiji PGA), is expected to attract professional and amateur golfers for a competitive day on the course.

The tournament will be played in stroke-play format, with the field limited to 70 players on a first-paid basis.

Registration will begin at 9am, followed by the shotgun tee-off at 9.30am.

The entry fee is $100 per player, which includes a buffet lunch.

Professionals will compete for $2,500, while amateurs will have the opportunity to compete for $3,000 worth of prizes.

Players wishing to take part must submit their registration forms by October 13, although late entries may be accepted subject to space availability.

The event also offers an opportunity for golfers to enjoy a competitive round while spending time at the Coral Coast resort.

A special accommodation rate of $395, including breakfast, is available for players wishing to stay overnight.

The Naviti Open Pro-Am is supported by VKM Dental Clinic.

With only 70 places available, golfers are encouraged to register early to secure their spots for the October tournament
