The Ministry of Finance says it has so far received a total of 162,299 applications for the Government’s $200 back-to-school support initiative.
These applications are being assessed and payment will start from Wednesday, January 25.
Applications for guardians will now open from Monday, January 23, and closes at 5pm on Thursday, January 26.
“We are also extending the application due date for parents to next week Thursday to give them more time to submit their applications,” the ministry stated.
The payment for this group of applications will start from February 1.
