A one-bedroom concrete house at Navakai Housing in Nadi sustained extensive damage in a structural fire yesterday morning.
The Nadi Fire Station received a report of the incident at 9.22am, and firefighters and ambulance personnel were immediately deployed to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The house sustained an estimated 85 per cent structural damage.
The total estimated cost of damage to the building and its contents is about $70,000.
The property was not insured.
