I totally agree with the acting CEO of LTA on enlightening the public that what happens inside the bus company business is really between the drivers and the owners of the bus company (The Fiji Times, January 21).
The public should not forget that the bus drivers play a major role in the bus industry and are VIPs as they are second to airline pilots and carry many lives behind them safely to their destination.
Issuing tickets is a small thing as the bus company owners are taking good care of the welfare of their drivers and if you need a ticket, just ask your driver for one and he will kindly issue it to you.
I also ask all the bus drivers around the country to please drive safely and take good care of your passengers while on board as you have started another busy year on the road.
