DAYAL’S Steel Ba Football Association and Ba FC management today honoured the senior citizens of Ba, seeking their blessings ahead of the 2026 Battle of the Giants tournament at the 4R Stadium at Govind Park in Ba.
Ba FC players and management spent time with the senior citizens as part of an initiative focused on giving back to the community and showing appreciation to the elders who helped build Ba.
The club also provided lunch for the senior citizens and distributed 100 complimentary BOG 2026 tickets valued at $20 each, covering all five days of the tournament. In addition, 100 food vouchers will be provided for each day of the tournament.
Ba FC president Praneel Dayal believes the initiative reflects Ba FC’s commitment to the wider Ba community and its belief that football is more than what happens on the field.
“Our players carry the hopes of Ba onto the field, but today they stood before our elders with humble hearts.”
The gesture was about respect, gratitude, community and giving back to those who have contributed to the development of Ba over the years.
“We Play for Ba. We Serve Ba. We Honour Ba.
“We are Ba,” Dayal said.
