Fijians nominated for awards

FIVE Fijian players have been nominated for the 2018 European Player of the year award.

They are Levani Botia (La Rochelle), Isa Nacewa (Leinster), Leone Nakarawa (Racing 92), Alivereti Raka (Clermont) and Josua Tuisova (Toulon).

The above mentioned have been in top form for their clubs.

15 players from the top 3 European Leagues are part of the nominated group that will be reduced to five later in April.

Voting for the award is open at ChampionsCupRugby.com and the last five remaining nominees will be determined by public voting and panel of judges.

Following the list reduction, voting will re-open and the winner announced May 12.

Meanwhile Fijian players scored all the tries for the Brive side to help them beat Worcester 32-7. Benito Masilevu, Dominiko Waqaniborutu and Seremaia Burotu scored a try each while Sisa Koyamaibole got a brace of tries.
