A WOMAN in her 60s was robbed while on her way to the bank in Nadi with her company’s takings of more than $15,000 in cash and cheques.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon outside the ANZ Bank Namaka Branch.
She said the suspect was chased by a security officer with two other men but fled in a grey hybrid car with the registration unknown.
Police are now requesting for information from members of the general public to help identify the suspect.
Ms Naisoro said anyone who may have any information is requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919 or the Western Division Command Center on 9905 457.
