The West is abuzz with anticipation for another thrilling round of Super Rugby Pacific action at Churchill Park tomorrow.

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players, including Kemu Valetini, Epeli Momo, and Moses Sorovi, along with Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women players like Anasimeci Korovata, delighted fans at Jack’s Store in Ba.

For five-year-old Anasilini Ruth, meeting her favourite Drua player, Kemu Valetini, was a magical experience.

“I’m happy to see the Drua players. They are my favourite players.

“I will cheer for them this Saturday,” Ruth said.

Another fan, Josaia Wame, expressed confidence in Drua’s home advantage at Churchill Park.

“Churchill Park is home for the Drua and Moana Pasifika will be finding it hard to win in Lautoka, go Drua go,” Wame said.

Meanwhile Moana Pasifika Head Coach Fa’alogo Tana Umaga said the match will be important for both teams who are 7th and 8th on the standings.

“It’s a big game, the pride of the Pacific all coming together in Fiji and we know that they’ll be well supported. It’s a big task for us to go over there and get the result we’re looking for but it’s something that we’re excited about,” said Umaga.

“We haven’t finished yet. We want more. That’s the kind of attitude we want, we want to always improve ourselves. We want to get better both individually and as a team, but also as a club.”

The fixture has become a highly anticipated matchup on the Super Rugby Pacific calendar, with previous meetings often decided by three points or less.
