Weather watch: Low pressure to the Southwest of Fiji

A TROUGH of low pressure lies to the far southwest of Fiji.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am today says an associated cloud and showers is expected to gradually move eastwards and affect the southern parts of the group from Friday.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect cloudy periods with isolated brief showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.

Otherwise it will be fine elsewhere.

Also expect moderate to fresh easterly wind and rough seas.

As for the outlook for Friday the weatherman says there will be brief showers over Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.
