Weather watch: Low pressure to bring associated cloud, rain

TROUGHS of low pressure with associated cloud and showers are expected to affect the group until early Saturday.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 3:30pm today says there will be cloudy periods with some showers over most places and isolated heavy falls possible.

However showers, will be easing and clearing in the West from tomorrow.

There will also be moderate to fresh Northeast winds, turning Northerly from tonight.

And also winds turning and becoming predominantly southeasterly from later tomorrow.

Expect moderate to rough seas.

As for the outlook for Saturday, expect brief showers over Lau and Lomaiviti group, Eastern parts and interior of larger islands.
