A heavy rain alert is now in force for Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Kadavu, Viti Levu, the Eastern and interior parts of Vanua Levu, Taveuni and Lomaiviti group.
The weather office says a trough of low pressure with cloud and rain is approaching Fiji from the West.
It is expected to affect the country from later tomorrow
