PEOPLE living along the Coral Coast and coastal areas of Kadavu, Beqa, Vatulele, Southern Lau Group, Mamanuca Group and Southern and Western Viti Levu should prepare for possible seawater inundation tonight and early tomorrow morning.

This is the warning from the Fiji Meteorological Service.

Director Ravind Kumar has warned mariners from venturing out to sea because of 3.5m to 4.5m waves expected over open waters.

The swells are expected to start easing from tomorrow evening.
