WE need to put more emphasis on Education and encourage the students from the province of Tailevu to enhance it to the next level.
This was highlighted by the Chairman of the Tailevu Provincial Council, Rusiate Tudravu while speaking at the scholarship awards at their office in Nausori yesterday.
He acknowledged the support shown by the chiefs and the district representatives for agreeing to allocate part of their provincial levy to the scholarship fund.
“The council’s education committee now has been able to give out scholarships to the students from our province because of the foresight and willingness of our chiefs and district reps,” he said.
