Water situation: Alert for customers in Nausori and Nasinu elevated areas

THE Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has advised customers living in elevated parts of Nausori and Nasinu that they will be experiencing minimal interruption from 12am Sunday, February 24, to 6am.

The authority stated the interruption in supply would allow the urgent replacement of the main switch control to the Waila Clear Water Pumps at the Waila Water Treatment Plant that feeds the Raralevu and Wainibuku reservoirs.

Water supply is expected to be normalised by 6am Sunday morning, February 24.

Customers are advised to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
