The outcome of the details pertaining to the meeting between Minister for Women Lynda Tabuya and the People’s Alliance Legal and National Disciplinary Sub-Committee on Monday will be known next week.

This, according to the People’s Alliance Party general secretary, Usaia Pita Waqatairewa, yesterday.

He said a period of two weeks had been given for the People’s Alliance Legal and National Disciplinary Sub-Committee to produce their decision.

Mr Waqatairewa said the deliberation of the committee would be handed to the management board.

The board will then decide on what actions to take against Ms Tubuya.

Meanwhile, on January 25, this newspaper reported Ms Tabuya had confirmed that she was being investigated by the party.

She said she was prepared to subject herself to the party’s constitutional process.

When approached for a comment this week, Ms Tabuya declined to answer questions stating she would wait for the decision of the board.
