Prime Ministers vow to strengthen ‘kizuna’ ties

PRIME Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio have vowed to strengthen the ‘kizuna’ relationship between the two countries.

Mr Rabuka who met with his counterpart Mr Fumio in Tokyo yesterday also assured that he trusted the process involved in the treated Alps water discharged into the Pacific Ocean.

In response Mr Kishida expressed his deep appreciation to Mr Rabuka for sharing his confidence on safety domestically as well as internationally.

He also assured that Japan would continue its efforts to ensure safety.

Mr Rabuka expressed once again his confidence in Japan’s measures to secure it.
