Urgent call for blood donation to help children admitted at CWM hospital

Fiji’s Ministry of Health and Medical Services is urgently seeking volunteers to donate blood within the Suva area.

The ministry says this blood drive aims to help children currently admitted at Suva’s CWM hospital.

The blood drive is being held at the SOPD Tents in the car park behind the Maternity Hospital at Extension Street.

It opens from Monday to Sunday – 8am until 4pm daily.

The ministry has advised that to donate blood, one person must not be sick or have medical conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
