Two of the nine victims injured in the Zamzam Restaurant fire in Samabula are fighting for their lives on life support at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
The Ministry of Health and Medical Services confirmed the pair remain in critical condition, while seven others are being treated for inhalation injuries and facial burns.
Medical teams at the hospital’s Emergency Department are continuing intensive care efforts as authorities monitor the situation closely.
The Ministry says further updates will be provided.
