The judgment of senior police officer George Lagi, who is facing bribery charges, has been adjourned to Friday, September 25.
Mr Lagi, an officer with the Criminal Investigations Department, appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne for judgment.
The matter was adjourned and judgment will now be delivered on September 25.
The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption alleges that between October 1, 2012, and January 31, 2014, Mr Lagi accepted a financial advantage of $6580.14 from Divindra Bhagat in connection with the performance of his official duties as a CID officer.
Mr Lagi is represented by lawyer Joji Cakau. His bail was extended.
