Twelve stab wounds on deceased

FIFTY six year old Timoci Lolohea who is accused of murdering a 22-year-old woman on March 20 last year allegedly stabbed her twelve times.

Testifying against Lolohea yesterday was government pathologist, Dr. James Kalougivaki who conducted the post-mortem examination on the deceased.

Dr. Kalougivaki who gave testimony before before Justice Salesi Temo in the High Court in Suva said there were twelve stab wounds on the deceased woman, Elenoa Dicovi.

The pathologist told Court that there were eight stab wounds to the deceased upper back area, two in the upper front area, one on the left chest and one on the right shoulder.

Lolohea is charged with one count of murder.

The trial continues today.
