The cream of the crop of the tourism industry gathered at the Sofitel Resort and Spa in Denarau tonight for the 2022 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.
The ceremony opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism Minister Viliame Gavoka, will recognise 20 tourist operators and individuals who have shown excellence in service and hospitality over the last 12 months.
While opening the Awards, Mr Gavoka said the Tourism industry has shown its resilience despite the challenges brought on the border closure and the COVID19 pandemic.
Mr Gavoka saluted the operators who have been an instrumental part of Fiji’s economic recovery.
