A TOURISM Fiji staff has been terminated following an incorrect advertisement posted on Tourism Fiji’s website last year.

This was revealed by Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while responding to a supplementary question by Opposition Whip Lynda Tabuya in Parliament earlier today.

The staff had incorrectly translated the word ‘toilet’ in iTaukei as ‘vale-ni-lotu’ which meant a place of worship.
