Bringing the Pacific Together: Where Global Technology Meets Regional Opportunity. When we began the Fiji Tech Summit in 2022, our ambition was clear: to create a platform in Fiji where global technology leaders could engage directly with businesses, government, technology professionals and decisionmakers from across our region.

Five years later, that ambition has grown into something much bigger.

On 12 and 13 November 2026, the Fiji Tech Summit returns to the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Natadola under the theme”Bringing the Pacific Together.” This fifth edition represents an important milestone for us, not simply because of how the Summit has grown, but because of what its growth says about Fiji’s place in the regional technology landscape.

This year we have reached our strongest level of technology-industry participation yet, with more than 30 global technology vendors and partners expected to be involved. To put that growth into perspective, the Summit brought together 25 vendors in 2022, 22 in 2023, 24 in 2024 and 28 in 2025. Across the first four Summits, more than 2,000 delegates and 49 unique technology vendors participated.

These are not just numbers. They demonstrate the confidence that international technology companies are placing in Fiji and in the wider Pacific market.

For our delegates, it means something equally important: access.

Over two days, participants can engage directly with global technology organisations and the people behind the technologies that organisations across our region are considering today. The programme brings together expertise across Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, data, networking, digital transformation and business technology. The current programme includes Global Technology gaints such as Fortinet, Lenovo, WatchGuard, HP, Dell, Intel, VMware, Nutanix, Jabra, Sophos, AMD, Trend AI, CheckPoint, ASUS, Huawei, RUCKUS Networks, Scality, Veeam and others.

Just as importantly, 29 speakers will take the stage across the two days, bringing international and regional perspectives into conversations relevant to Fiji and the Pacific.

But Fiji Tech Summit 2026 is designed to go beyond presentations.

One of our priorities this year has been to give delegates different ways to experience and understand technology. Alongside the main-stage programme and exhibition, we will have specialised breakout sessions, creating smaller environments where delegates can engage more deeply with technology specialists and explore particular solutions and business challenges. The published Day One programme, for example, includes dedicated breakout rooms with Sophos, HP, Lenovo and WatchGuard.

There will also be opportunities for live demonstrations and hands-on technology engagement. This is important because technology is best understood not only by hearing about what it can do, but by seeing how it works and discussing how it can be applied within organisations. Earlier Summit positioning has consistently focused on giving delegates direct access to global vendors and the latest technologies, and we are expanding that experience further in 2026.

The programme has been built to balance strategic conversations with practical engagement. A CEO may be thinking about how AI will affect competitiveness and productivity. A CIO or CTO may be considering infrastructure modernisation, cloud strategy or data resilience. A cybersecurity professional may be asking how rapidly evolving threats should change their organisation’s security posture. Others may simply want to understand which technologies deserve investment over the next three to five years.

Fiji Tech Summit brings these conversations together in one place.

We also know that some of the most valuable conversations at an event like this happen away from the stage. The exhibitions, breakout rooms, demonstrations and networking sessions provide delegates with an opportunity to speak directly with technology experts, ask difficult questions, compare approaches and build relationships that continue well beyond the Summit itself. The two-day programme includes dedicated exhibition periods and an evening networking reception, reinforcing that engagement as an important part of the experience.

For Datec, the growth of Fiji Tech Summit carries a responsibility. Our objective is not simply to bring more vendors to Fiji each year. It is to bring the right technology conversations, expertise and opportunities closer to Pacific organisations.

Technology is moving extraordinarily fast. Artificial Intelligence is reshaping industries, cybersecurity risks continue to evolve, and organisations are being challenged to modernise while remaining resilient, secure and commercially sustainable. Decisions being made today about infrastructure, data, security, cloud and automation will influence organisations for years to come.

As CEO of Datec Fiji, I am extremely proud of what Fiji Tech Summit has become and grateful for the continued confidence of our customers, technology partners, speakers and delegates.

When global technology leaders come to Fiji to share their expertise, demonstrate their innovations and engage directly with our business and government leaders, we create something bigger than a two-day conference.

We create connections. We exchange knowledge. We open opportunities. And most importantly, we bring the Pacific together.
