Sunglasses provided for cataract surgery patients

THE Pacific Eye Institute today received 20 sunglasses for people that had a cataract surgery.

EqualMed from Georgia in the USA supplied those sunglasses through Diabetes Fiji.

Institute operations manager Kirti Prasad said they always welcomed any kind of donation handed to them.

“There were 20 sunglasses, these sunglasses will be given to those people that underwent cataract surgery,” Ms Prasad said.Diabetes Fiji program coordinator Marawa Kini said they received mobility devices for people with diabetes from their donors.
