TWO primary school students have sustained bodily injuries after an accident in Valelevu, Nasinu yesterday.
Merebuli and Rosa Lumelume were crossing along the Ratu Mara road around three o’clock when the incident occurred.
The two sisters are aged 8 and 12 respectively.
Their father Sivaniolo Lumelume said even though they were no major or internal injuries the impacts of the accident are visible on his daughters.
“My daughter Merebuli had her tooth and gum out of her mouth. They have multiple bruises on their hands and bodies,” he said.
Meanwhile, Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed the driver in his 40s is currently being questioned at the Valelevu Police Stations as investigation continues.
