Rewa head coach Rodicks Singh believes his side still has a lot of room for improvement despite thumping Nadroga 6-1 in round six of the Digicel Premier League competition yesterday.

The men in red managed to boot in two goals in the first half through midfielder Iosefo Verevou for a 2-nil lead before heading into halftime. Nadroga managed to find the back of the net in the second spell, but it wasn’t long before Rewa another four goals before calling it a day.

“There is still a lot of room for improvement, but I am very happy with the boys effort today coming out with a dominant win,” Singh said.

The side continues their undefeated run, and is showing no signs of slowing down for the rest of the season.

“Hats off to Nadroga for giving the boys a tough battle as well, they really tested and pushed the boys to their limits.”

Rewa received a red card in the second spell, and Singh says they will need to work on their discipline before heading for the Oceania Football Federation Men’s Champions League in Tahiti in May.

“We can afford to be getting red cards, and we will need to work on our discipline before the OFC Champions League gets started.”
