THE Savusavu based St. Beads College Under-19 and U15 rugby team has kept their Super Dean’s hope alive advancing to the national quarterfinals after winning southern/northern zone third place playoff matches for the 2019 Vodafone Secondary Schools Super Dean’s Championship.

St Beads U19 beat Sacred Heart College 11-10 while the U15 beat Nasinu Secondary School 15-12 at Suva Grammar Grounds today.

“We came prepared,” said team manager Been Time.

“The boys did their part against much stronger teams and now we focus on the next round ahead of us.”

Marist Brothers High School beat Navatu Secondary School 20-5 in the Under-17 third place playoff.
