THE ‘Bau Bullet’, Banuve Tabakaucoro, has confirmed his presence at the FMF Chow Games, helping out with athletes as they compete at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
Tabakaucoro said he was not new to the Chow Games, as this was where it all started for him and he was looking forward to the competition.
“I will also be present at the Chow Games competition for the two days just helping out the kids who want to be helped, also giving tips in training to athletes who will be taking part,” said Tabakaucoro.
“Should the kids have questions on anything, from keeping fit and tips I will be available,” he added.
The Pacific sprint king said the Chow Games was an important phase in a child’s life as it helps them identify their talent as it had been for him.
“The Chow Games was where it all began for me so I am not a stranger coming through the system.
“It was an important phase in my life and this is the sport I chose to live off and make money from and I am really excited,” said Tabakaucoro.
“To all the kids competing, I want you to do your best. If you know you have trained hard then preparations should not be a problem for you,” he said.
The 2019 FMF Chow Games begins on Friday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
