Shortlisted candidates interviewed for Fiji Bati coach position

THE shortlisted candidates for the position of coach for the Vodafone Fiji Bati have been interviewed.

FNRL executive chairperson Peni Musunamasi who is in Australia at present confirmed this to Fiji Times Online saying the interviews were done in Australia and they would follow the mandatory process.

“We have to cross-check references and then we can confirm the next coach for the Fiji Bati,” Musunamasi said.

Musunamasi had earlier confirmed that the final four applicants were all overseas-based professional coaches.

The new Fiji Bati coach will guide the team to the Pacific Games in Samoa this year.a
