THE 13th National Scouts Jamboree ended in Labasa last week with sweet memories, says Scouts executive commissioner Joji Qaranivalu.

He described the event as a success that had taught the children many skills of life and developed a character of self-reliance.

“It has been a terrific week and our Scouts who travelled from as far as Lau, Yasawa and Kadavu enjoyed themselves,” Mr Qaranivalu said.

“They will be survivors and what they have learnt during this camp will make them stronger when they return home and back to school.”
