Rewa continues to prove their worth in the Digicel Fiji Premier League competition after beating Nasinu 3-1 at the Fiji Football Academy in Suva on Sunday.

Head coach Rodick Singh said while he was proud of his side’s win, he still believes they could have performed better.

“We are happy to be walking away with a win once again, but I still believe the boys could have done better,” he said.

Singh noted a few areas his side will need to work on if they are to continue their undefeated streak for the season.

“Hats off to Nasinu for giving us a run for our money and making the boys work hard for the win.

“They are a very young side and they played exceptionally well, we wish them the best for the rest of the tournament.”

Meanwhile, Singh said preparations continue for the upcoming OFC Men’s Champions League which kicks start next month.

“Preparations have been going well, but for now our focus is on the DPL. This competition is very important to us and we are looking to come out as winners for this tourney.”
