RADISSON Blu Resort Fiji is gearing up for a multi-phased expansion and repositioning strategy, says general manager Charles Homsy.
Mr Homsy said the resort was advancing plans for a new beach bar and a beach steak shack, with expectations that at least one of the ventures will be completed by late 2026 or early 2027.
Comprehensive room renovations are expected to commence in 2028. While declining to disclose a total monetary figure for the investments, Mr Homsy emphasised that the financial commitment is substantial and strategically balanced against projected returns rather than headline-grabbing figures.
“It’s not about the figure that you put into a project,” he said.
“It doesn’t make sense if you don’t go through how much we invest versus how much we make profit out of it.”
The resort leadership views the projects through a dual lens of innovation and asset management.
Mr Homsy said the developments were intentionally designed to introduce fresh culinary outlets to maintain a competitive edge while simultaneously upgrading and repositioning existing amenities to better serve guests.
