Fiji-born All Blacks wing Sevu Reece has ascended to the top of the Crusader’s all-time try-scoring list.

Despite Crusaders 15-37 loss to the Western Force, Reece celebrated his 53rd try taking him to the top of the chart.

The Kadavu man’s rise to the top is made that much more remarkable considering that he scored his 53rd try in just 67 appearances for the Crusaders.

Reece, 27, he has the chance of extending his lead at the top of the pile, but that dependents on whether he chooses to stay at the club or not, with his contract running to a close at the end of the season.

He has been linked to a move to France earlier in March.

Crusaders legend Caleb Ralph is second on the club’s list with 52 tries.
