Rakiraki Police are investigating an alleged case of rape involving a minor.
The alleged incident occurred at the victim’s village on April 30, 2020.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro alleged the two-year-old victim was playing outside her home when the incident occurred.
She said investigators were trying to establish the identity of the suspect.
The matter was reported to Police by the victim’s mother.
Police have begun their investigations.
