The Anant Raj captained Olosara Club jumped to join the Simla Dragons on second position in the Phill’s Autoport North West Billiards and Snooker Association 2020 League after defeating South Seas Warriors 4-3 in an exciting fixture.

Olosara led 3-1 before Chung Lee secured a hard fought 121-118 win against Ronald Singh in the billiards fixture to give the Warriors a lifeline.

Raj partnering with his son Manav then defeated Ritesh Tagi and Raj Mani Pillay 152-71 to reach to seal victory.

Raj said they travelled early to Lautoka to get enough practice on the tables before the fixture.

He said the ploy worked as the players were fine-tuned and focused on the task at hand.
