Prominent rugby player in custody for alleged rape

POLICE have taken into custody a prominent rugby player who is alleged to have raped a 24-year-old woman.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the incident happened over the weekend in Olosara in Sigatoka.

Investigations continue.
