Police are investigating the death of a woman believed to have died after jumping off a building at the Lautoka Hospital last weekend.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro says the woman in her 20s was a patient who was admitted on the third floor of the Lautoka Hospital.
Ms Naisoro alleged the woman had jumped out from the third floor and landed on the ground and sustained serious injuries.
She died a day after the incident.
Police investigations continues to ascertain the cause of this act.
