Police were yesterday looking for a prisoner who escaped on Friday.

Convicted prisoner, Seveci Navakasai, 29, escaped from the custody of a Corrections Officer while returning to Suva from attending the Lautoka High Court.

They had stopped at a police post when Navakasai escaped.

Police spokeswoman, Ana Naisoro said a recapture team was formed to conduct search.
